🌿Messenger Monday🌿

Every Monday, the message to become a messenger resonates deeply with many of us walking a faith journey. It's amazing to realize how our small daily gestures — whether a kind word, a listening ear, or a moment of encouragement — can impact someone's life more profoundly than we know. I’ve experienced firsthand how reaching out to someone who seemed burdened, simply by sending a thoughtful text or praying for them, created a shift not only in their outlook but also enriched my own faith. The verse Romans 10:15, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!" reminds us that being a bearer of encouragement is a beautiful and vital role. It encourages us to be intentional about spreading hope, especially in a world where many feel unseen or alone. I’ve found that embracing this messenger role requires both boldness and sensitivity — boldness to step out and reach out, and sensitivity to discern when and how God is calling us to act. It’s a daily discipline to stay attuned to what’s on our hearts and respond with grace. Sometimes, the encouragement needed is not grand but just a reminder that someone is loved and noticed. The community at Breaking Bread at the Mustard Seed is a wonderful example of how faith-filled connections foster growth and healing. Joining such supportive groups encourages accountability and provides consistent inspiration to continue serving as messengers of hope. Start small—send that message, make that call, offer prayers, and watch how God moves through your willingness to serve.
