Jeremiah 29:13 ~
“You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart.”
Religion didn’t save me…
Jesus did.
It wasn’t routines, rules, or traditions that changed my life…
it was an encounter with the One & Only True Jesus Christ.
There are moments in life when God will call you deeper…
beyond the noise, beyond expectations,
and even beyond the walls you once relied on.
Sometimes…
you don’t truly find Him until everything else falls away.
When you lay it all down…
the labels, the pressure, the performance…
and begin to seek Him with your whole heart…
that’s where relationship begins.
Now hear this…
Church can be a beautiful, powerful place.
It can be filled with worship, community, and truth.
But we must walk with discernment, because not everything that looks holy is led by Him.
Even the enemy knows how to sit quietly in a pew.
That’s why your relationship with Jesus
must be personal.
Not borrowed.
Not performed.
Not dependent on a building.
Because sometimes…
God will meet you in the quiet,
outside the walls,
in the breaking,
in the seeking…
and reveal a love so real, so intimate,
that no religion could ever contain it.
This isn’t about walking away from God…
it’s about walking closer to Him than ever before! 🙌🏼🙌🏼
Lord,
Strip away anything in my life that keeps me from truly knowing You.
Not just knowing about You—but walking with You.
Teach me to seek You with my whole heart,
to recognize Your voice,
and to follow You beyond comfort and tradition.
Let my faith be rooted in relationship,
not routine…
and let Your truth guide me in every step.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen! 🤍
🤍 Have you ever experienced God in a deeper way outside of routine or tradition?
Let’s talk about it…

In my own faith journey, I have found that true spiritual transformation comes from a relationship with Jesus rather than merely following religious routines or customs. Just like the text emphasizes from Jeremiah 29:13—"You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart"—this verse has been a compass guiding me beyond surface-level rituals to a heartfelt pursuit of God. At times, I realized that the structure of church services and religious ceremonies, while meaningful, could not substitute for the personal, quiet moments of seeking God. It was in those moments of spiritual searching—often alone, away from tradition and expectations—that I encountered a love and peace no religion alone could offer. This experience also taught me the importance of discernment within church communities. Not every practice or person that appears holy truly reflects God's presence. The challenge has been to maintain an ongoing, personal connection with Jesus that isn’t dependent on a building, rituals, or performances but is authentic and deeply rooted in love and truth. Walking closer to Jesus means being open to God’s leading beyond comfort zones—sometimes outside of well-known practices and traditions. It requires laying down pressures, performance, and labels that can distract from genuine faith. When I embraced this, my spiritual life blossomed in ways that traditional religious adherence alone never accomplished. If you’re seeking a faith that’s alive and growing, I encourage you to focus on relationship instead of religion. Look beyond the walls and routines and seek God with your whole heart—He promises that you will find Him there. This journey is deeply personal but also incredibly rewarding, filled with moments of revelation, peace, and love that transform every part of your life.
