Matthew 20:26 ~
“But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant.”
There is a difference between being called to be seen… and being called to serve.
One chases applause.
The other carries obedience.
Jesus Himself washed feet.
Fed the hungry.
Sat with the overlooked.
Served with humility, compassion, and love.
Sometimes we think our calling has to be loud, massive, or instantly successful to matter. But the Kingdom of God is often built quietly… one prayer, one encouragement, one act of kindness, one faithful step at a time.
You may feel unnoticed.
You may feel weary.
You may wonder if what you’re doing is making any difference at all.
But servant hearts move Heaven! 🙌🏼
Every meal shared.
Every word of encouragement.
Every devotional written.
Every hand extended in love.
Every moment spent pointing someone back to Jesus… matters.
God never wastes obedience.
The beautiful thing about serving is this…
when your heart is truly surrendered to God, serving people becomes an overflow of loving Him.
Don’t grow discouraged in the small beginnings.
Don’t quit because the crowd is quiet.
Don’t measure your calling by likes, follows, or recognition.
Measure it by faithfulness! 🙌🏼
Because sometimes the greatest callings are carried by the humblest hands.
Lord, give us hearts that are willing to serve with humility, love, and obedience. Help us to remember that no act of kindness done for You is ever wasted. Strengthen us when we grow weary and remind us that faithfulness matters more than recognition. Let our lives reflect the servant heart of Jesus everywhere we go. Amen! 🤍
