Breaking Bread at the Mustard Seed with Stacey

🍞Just a Little Daily Bread…🍞

Romans 8:37 ~

“No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.”

There comes a moment when you stop rehearsing what broke you… and start remembering Who is rebuilding you.

The enemy would love nothing more than for you to stay stuck in survival mode… wounded, weary, offended, fearful, and convinced your story is over. But child of God, you were never created to live defeated!

You may have been hurt… but you are not hopeless.

You may have been rejected… but you are still chosen.

You may have walked through betrayal, heartbreak, loss, or disappointment… but none of it has the final say over your life.

Jesus didn’t call you to remain a victim of your past. He called you to rise in victory through His power, His grace, and His healing. Every scar has the potential to become a testimony. Every battle can become proof that God kept you! 🙌🏼

Sometimes victory doesn’t look loud. Sometimes it looks like getting back up one more time. Sometimes it looks like praying through tears, forgiving anyway, or choosing faith when fear is screaming.

The same God who brought David through giants, Esther through fear, Joseph through betrayal, and Jesus through the grave is still moving today. And He is not finished with your story.

So today… straighten your crown, lift your head, and remember…

You are not merely surviving.

You are overcoming.

You are walking from victim to victor through Christ.

Lord, help me release the mindset of defeat and walk boldly in the victory You have already promised me. Heal every wounded place in my heart and remind me that my past does not define my future. Give me strength to rise again with courage, faith, and confidence in You. Thank You for turning my pain into purpose and my battles into testimonies. In Jesus’ name, Amen! 🤍

... Read moreTransitioning from feeling like a victim to embracing the identity of a victor is often a deeply personal and transformative journey. I’ve found that this process begins with a shift in mindset—choosing to no longer dwell on wounds but to actively focus on the healing and rebuilding power that faith offers. In my experience, holding onto past pain only prolongs suffering, but when I started praying and meditating on verses like Romans 8:37, I began to realize that victory was already secured through Christ’s love. It helped me see my scars not as reminders of defeat, but as evidence of survival and testimonies of God’s faithfulness. One practical step that supported my growth was consciously practicing forgiveness—not just for others but also for myself. Forgiving allowed me to release bitterness and bitterness’s heavy grip on my life, creating space for peace and renewal. Sometimes, victory manifests quietly in these small, daily acts of faith and perseverance—getting up again after setbacks, choosing hope when fear threatens to overwhelm. The encouraging truth is that God’s empowering presence is constant. Just as He guided biblical figures like David, Esther, and Joseph through trials, He continues to lead each of us through our individual challenges today. Remembering that I am chosen, healed, renewed, and equipped gave me courage to walk boldly in my calling despite uncertainty. Embracing this victorious path is not about ignoring struggles but about trusting that our past does not limit our future. Every struggle has potential purpose and opens the door for greater strength, faith, and resilience through Jesus Christ. My encouragement to anyone on this journey: straighten your crown, lift your head, and keep trusting that you are not simply surviving—you are overcoming and thriving through the grace of God. Through sharing this testimony, I hope to inspire others to let go of defeat and confidently walk in the promised victory that transforms pain into purpose, one step at a time.
