Proverbs 3:5-6 ~
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding; in all your ways know Him, and He will make your paths straight.”
Have you ever planted a seed and then dug it back up the next day to see if it was growing?
Of course not.
We understand that growth takes time.
Yet so often, that’s exactly what we do with God’s promises.
We pray.
We believe.
We take a step of faith.
Then when we don’t immediately see results, we become discouraged. We question the process. We wonder if God heard us at all.
But just because you cannot see what God is doing doesn’t mean He isn’t working.
Roots grow before fruit appears.
God often does His greatest work beneath the surface before anyone sees the harvest.
The waiting season is not a wasted season.
The process is preparing you for the promise.
Every prayer you’ve prayed…
Every tear you’ve cried…
Every step of obedience you’ve taken…
God sees it all! 🙌🏼
And while you may not understand every twist and turn of the journey, you can trust the One who is leading you through it.
Don’t allow impatience to make you abandon what God is still growing.
Trust Him with the process.
The harvest will come in His perfect timing! 🙌🏼
Father, help me trust You even when I cannot see what You’re doing. Give me patience when I want immediate answers and peace when I don’t understand the process. Remind me that You are working behind the scenes, preparing things I cannot yet see. Strengthen my faith as I wait on You. In Jesus’ name, Amen! 🤍

In my own spiritual journey, I have often wrestled with the impatience that comes from wanting immediate results, especially when it comes to prayers and promises. One thing I've learned is that growth doesn’t occur overnight—just like a seed must be nurtured underground before it sprouts, our faith and blessings need time to develop out of sight. The concept of trusting God with the process resonates deeply because it reminds me that periods of waiting and uncertainty are not voids but vital seasons of preparation. During these times, I try to remind myself of Proverbs 3:5-6, which advises us to trust the Lord wholeheartedly and not lean on our limited understanding. This scripture has become a grounding anchor for me when I feel doubt creeping in. Instead of rushing or digging up my spiritual 'seed' to check progress too early, I find peace in surrendering control and embracing the mystery of God's timing. I've noticed that the most fruitful growth usually happens when I stop obsessing over immediate outcomes and instead invest in persistent prayer, reflection, and obedience—small steps that build trust slowly but surely. It helps to reflect on the fact that God does His greatest work unseen, cultivating roots that will eventually support a rich harvest. This way of looking at the waiting season transforms it from a frustrating pause into a powerful time of personal and spiritual growth. If you find yourself tempted to rush or abandon your journey prematurely, consider the wisdom shared here: patience is a gift that nurtures faith. Trusting God with the process enables us to release our fears and control and step into a deeper experience of peace and assurance. Embrace the unseen work happening in your life because the harvest will come, perfectly timed and more abundant than you might expect.
