“About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them.”
Most of us think worship comes after the breakthrough.
After the prayer is answered.
After the healing comes.
After the door opens.
After the miracle happens.
But Paul and Silas showed us something powerful.
They didn’t wait until the prison doors opened to worship.
They worshiped while they were still chained.
Imagine that.
They had been beaten.
They had been falsely accused.
They were sitting in a dark prison cell.
Yet instead of complaining, they chose praise.
Instead of focusing on their circumstances, they focused on God!
And somewhere between the worship and the breakthrough, God moved! 🙌🏼
The earth shook.
The chains broke.
The doors opened.
Friend, maybe your breakthrough hasn’t arrived yet.
Maybe you’re still waiting on healing.
Maybe you’re still praying for your family.
Maybe you’re still believing for a dream God placed in your heart.
DON’T LET THE WAITING STEAL YOUR WORSHIP!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼
Praise God in the hallway before He opens the next door.
Worship Him in the valley before you reach the mountaintop.
Because worship shifts our focus from our problems to His power.
And sometimes the greatest miracle is not what God changes around us…
It’s what He changes within us while we wait! 🙌🏼
Father, help me worship You regardless of my circumstances. When life feels difficult and answers seem delayed, remind me that You are still worthy of my praise. Teach me to worship You in the waiting, trust You in the process, and keep my eyes fixed on You. In Jesus’ name, Amen! 🤍
