Breaking Bread at the Mustard Seed with Stacey

🍞Just a Little Daily Bread…🍞

Galatians 6:9~

“Let us not get tired of doing good, for we will reap at the proper time if we don’t give up.”

One of the hardest parts of faith is trusting God when nothing seems to be happening.

You pray, but the answer doesn’t come.

You sow seeds of kindness, but don’t see results.

You take steps of obedience, but the path ahead still seems unclear.

It’s easy to become discouraged when growth isn’t visible.

But think about a seed planted in the ground.

For weeks, sometimes months, there appears to be no change above the surface. Yet beneath the soil, roots are spreading. Strength is developing. Growth is happening where no one can see it.

Our walk with God is often the same way.

Just because you don’t see progress doesn’t mean God isn’t working.

Just because the answer hasn’t arrived doesn’t mean He has forgotten.

Just because the harvest isn’t visible doesn’t mean the seed isn’t growing.

Friend, God is doing things beneath the surface that your eyes cannot yet see! 🙌🏼

He’s strengthening your faith.

He’s preparing your heart.

He’s arranging circumstances.

He’s working in ways that will make sense later! 🙌🏼

Don’t give up because the harvest hasn’t appeared yet.

Keep praying.

Keep believing.

Keep sowing.

Keep trusting.

The God who planted the promise is faithful to bring it to completion! 🙌🏼

Father, thank You for working even when I cannot see it. Help me trust You during seasons when growth feels slow and answers seem delayed. Give me the strength to keep sowing, keep believing, and keep following You. Remind me that You are always at work, even beneath the surface. In Jesus’ name, Amen! 🤍

... Read moreWhen life's progress feels slow or invisible, it can be incredibly challenging to maintain faith and hope. From my own experience, I’ve learned that spiritual growth and personal development often mirror the natural process of a seed growing underground. For weeks or even months, there appears to be no visible change, yet deep beneath the surface, roots spread and strengthen. This hidden development is crucial, even though it's hard to detect. In seasons when answers to prayers seem delayed, I've found that accepting this period as part of God's timing rather than my own is vital. Trusting that God is diligently working—even when circumstances suggest otherwise—helps me remain patient and focused. Reflecting on scriptures like Galatians 6:9 reminds me not to grow weary but to persevere, knowing that the harvest will come at the proper time if I do not give up. The key is to continue sowing kindness, obedience, and faithful actions daily, even when immediate results aren’t apparent. These small seeds, planted with intention and trust, yield spiritual strength and maturity over time. Experiences in my own faith journey have shown that this internal growth prepares me for the blessings and clarity that come later. Engaging in prayer and reflection has deepened my understanding that God’s work is often multilayered—strengthening faith, shaping character, and orchestrating circumstances for a greater purpose. This means growth is happening beneath the surface, even if we can’t see it with our eyes. By keeping this mindset, I have learned to embrace the mystery and trust that God’s faithfulness never fails. If you’re facing a season where growth feels unseen, remember that you're not alone. Keep praying, believing, sowing, and trusting. The God who plants the seed is also the one who faithfully brings the harvest. Let this encouragement inspire you to stay steadfast, knowing that every unseen effort contributes to meaningful transformation.
