Philippians 1:6 ~
“Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”
Have you ever looked at your life and thought, “Lord, I should be further along by now”?
Maybe you still struggle with things you thought you’d already overcome.
Maybe you’re waiting on prayers that haven’t been answered.
Maybe you’re standing in the middle of a season that feels unfinished.
Friend, take heart.
God is not discouraged by unfinished work.
In fact, some of His greatest masterpieces were created one day, one step, and one brushstroke at a time.
We often focus on what hasn’t happened yet.
God focuses on what He is still doing.
While you see delays, God sees development.
While you see waiting, God sees preparation.
While you see unfinished chapters, God sees the completed story.
The same God who called you is still working in you! 🙌🏼
The same God who carried you through yesterday is carrying you today.
And the same God who began the work will finish it.
You are not forgotten.
You are not abandoned.
You are not stuck.
You are simply still becoming.
So don’t quit in the middle of the process.
Don’t judge God’s work before He’s finished.
Keep trusting.
Keep growing.
Keep believing.
Because God is still working.
And He’s not finished yet! 🙌🏼
Father, thank You for continuing Your work in my life even when I cannot see all that You are doing. Help me trust Your timing, Your process, and Your plans. When I become discouraged, remind me that You are still working behind the scenes. Strengthen my faith and help me keep my eyes fixed on You. In Jesus’ name, Amen! 🤍

Reflecting on Philippians 1:6, I have often found myself impatient during times when life feels unfinished or stalled. Like many, I've wondered why certain prayers remain unanswered or why personal growth seems slower than expected. This journey taught me that God's timing is different from ours, and unfinished chapters in life are not failures but opportunities for deeper trust and transformation. In my experience, viewing delays as development shifted my perspective immensely. When I was faced with setbacks, instead of feeling stuck, I began to see these moments as preparation phases—periods where God was quietly shaping strengths and character traits I couldn’t yet appreciate. This mindset helped me embrace life’s uncertainties with hope rather than frustration. It's also important to remember that spiritual growth isn't always linear. Some of God’s greatest work happens behind the scenes, changing us inwardly in ways others may not see immediately. Trusting that He is still working, even when progress isn’t visible, encourages perseverance. Keep praying, keep believing, and stay faithful to the process. This reflection has reminded me that none of us are forgotten or abandoned by God. We are each a work in progress, and His masterpiece unfolds one brushstroke at a time. So when you feel like you should be further along, pause and reaffirm your trust in God’s plan. The same God who began your good work will surely bring it to completion. He’s not finished yet!
