Proverbs 3:5–6 ~
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.”
Some of us are waiting for God to reveal the entire roadmap before we’ll take the first step.
But that’s not usually how He works.
God often gives us just enough light for the next step… not the next ten.
Noah built before it rained. Moses stretched out his staff before the sea parted. Peter stepped out of the boat before he walked on water.
Their miracle followed their obedience.
Maybe today God is asking you to make a phone call, forgive someone, apply for that opportunity, begin that ministry, pray a bold prayer, or simply trust Him in the waiting.
You don’t have to understand everything! 🙌🏼
You only have to obey the One who already does!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼
One small act of obedience can become the doorway to a miracle you never imagined!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼
Take the step.
God will meet you there! 🙌🏼
Father, thank You for reminding me that I don’t have to know every detail before I trust You. Give me the courage to take the next step You have placed before me. Help me walk by faith instead of fear and obedience instead of hesitation. I believe that You are already preparing the way ahead of me. In Jesus’ name, Amen! 🤍

Taking small steps in obedience is a powerful way to walk in faith, even when the full picture isn’t clear. Like the biblical examples of Noah, Moses, and Peter, we often face moments when God calls us to act without knowing what comes next. From personal experience, I have found that moving forward in simple acts—whether it's making a difficult phone call, forgiving someone, or saying yes to a new opportunity—builds a foundation for transformation in life. These steps create momentum. Sometimes, we wait for perfect clarity or assurance, but God’s guidance often arrives incrementally, giving just enough light for each next step. When we obey, even imperfectly, miracles unfold in ways we never anticipated. For instance, I once hesitated to start a community group because I didn’t see all the logistics worked out. But taking that initial step of faith—hosting a simple gathering—opened doors to friendships and support that enriched my spiritual walk immensely. Obedience became a doorway to unexpected blessings. Also, embracing Proverbs 3:5-6 in everyday life helps replace fear with faith. Trusting God with "all your heart" and not relying on our understanding is easier said than done, but when acted upon, it changes our perspective. Obedience shifts focus from our doubts to God’s faithfulness. So today, consider what small step God is asking you to take. Maybe it’s a prayer, a conversation, or an act of kindness. You don’t need to see the full staircase; just commit to the next step. Remember, "God will meet you there," and your faithfulness can unlock blessings and miracles waiting just ahead.
