Ocean Water at home ✨
135 calories and 35 total carbs Overall rating: 10/10. I love this one, but I can only enjoy it occasionally because of the higher carbs. Next time, I might try this one with a Sprite zero.
Ingredients I used:
Canada Dry 12oz.
Ocean Water drink mix: about half the packet
Water: about half a bottle or 4-6 oz.
Optional: coconut extract about 3 drops or half a tsp.
How I made it:
1: Pour Canada Dry in a cup, with ice if wanted.
2: Pour half a packet of Ocean Water in a half-full water bottle and shake to mix well, then add to cup.
3: Add in 3 drops or half a teaspoon of coconut extract for a stronger coconut flavor, stir well and enjoy! 🥰

If you're looking for a refreshing and flavorful drink to enjoy at home, making Ocean Water with Canada Dry ginger ale and Ocean Water drink mix is a fantastic choice. This combination creates a unique beverage that balances the sweetness and fizz of ginger ale with the tropical notes of Ocean Water mix. Adding a few drops of coconut extract further enhances the tropical flavor profile, offering a subtle yet delicious coconut undertone. From personal experience, I found that controlling the amount of Ocean Water mix and ginger ale allows me to tailor the sweetness and carbonation level to my liking. Using half a packet of the mix and about 12 ounces of Canada Dry ginger ale resulted in a drink that was tasty but not overpoweringly sweet. For those who prefer a lighter option, substituting the ginger ale with a zero-calorie soda like Sprite Zero can help reduce carbs and calories while still maintaining a pleasant fizz. This drink is perfect for occasions when you want a quick, easy-to-make beverage with a beachy vibe without leaving your home. It also works well as a non-alcoholic option for gatherings or as a refreshing start to the day when you’re craving something different than your typical juice or soda. It's important to note that while this recipe is a fun treat, it does contain around 135 calories and 35 grams of carbs, so enjoying it in moderation is recommended, especially if you are watching your carb intake. To make it more wholesome, you could experiment with adding fresh lime juice or mint leaves to add a fresh twist. Overall, making this Ocean Water drink at home is straightforward, enjoyable, and perfect for anyone looking to experiment with tropical-inspired drinks that are both satisfying and easy to prepare.
