❄️Who's gonna play Mei's Snowball Offensive this year?❄️
Hey everyone! I just got back from a few rounds of Mei's Snowball Offensive, and wow, what a game mode! It’s that time of year again for Overwatch’s Winter Wonderland event, and honestly, this game mode is a pure dose of chaotic fun. If you haven't played it in a while, or ever, it's basically a one-hit-kill snowball fight where Mei is the star. Today, I had a pretty typical experience, you know, the kind where Mei's being annoying, like usual, and walls are going up to block us in spawn right at the start. It’s always a bit frustrating when you’re stuck behind an ice wall, but honestly, it just makes the eventual breakthrough even more satisfying. I found myself thinking, "Why not try it anyways? Maybe someone's being annoying on their team as well." And wouldn't you know it, they also had a wall up on the other side! It's like a universal Mei experience. Little did I know, the one I eventually got was the very Mei who put up the wall on the other side earlier! Oh, the sweet taste of revenge! Honestly, that made this shot the best one yet. It felt so good to finally hit them. It’s these small victories that make the game mode so enjoyable for me. For those of you looking to dominate Mei's Snowball Offensive, I've picked up a few tips over the years. First off, aim is key. Since it's a one-shot kill, take your time with each snowball – don't just spam. Secondly, your ice wall is your best friend and worst enemy. Use it defensively to block incoming snowballs, or offensively to trap enemies, create high ground, or even block their escape routes. Just be careful not to get your own teammates "wasted" by blocking them in or off! I've seen some hilarious moments where walls were totally wasted, and it just created more chaos. Thirdly, don't underestimate Cryo-Freeze. It’s not just for healing; it's a great way to bait enemies, dodge incoming fire, or buy time for your next snowball to reload. Finally, Mei's ultimate, Blizzard, is a game-changer. Save it for when you can catch multiple enemies, or to clear out an objective if you're playing on a map with one. It'll freeze them solid, making them easy targets. What are your go-to strategies or funniest moments from Mei's Snowball Offensive? I'd love to hear them!
