Semi Freeform locs

Part 1 of my loc journey.

Yes I’m one of those people that have a spiritual connection with my hair (not an attachment)

No , I don’t think locs are a hairstyle or a trend .

I retwist my hair maybe a couple times a year … Maybe

It’s been a cute 5 years ! The most revolutionary hair choice I could’ve made .

If you’ve been thinking of committing, commitment being the main focus. I say go for it !

Some of my unpopular opinions

There’s no such thing as a ugly stage (imo)

and length doesn’t equal healthy nor does long hair make someone’s locs better or better looking because of length itself .

Length measures commitment or attachment not beauty .

I’m not slicking nothing down to make anyone comfortable 💕

Lastly …

DO NOT COMPARE YOUR HAIR , To literally anyone.

Can’t wait for part 2 🤗

Unlike traditional locs, this style allows for a more relaxed approach without rigid maintenance schedules. For many, this journey involves a deep spiritual connection to their hair, representing personal growth and authenticity. Common misconceptions surround locs, such as the belief that longer hair is synonymous with healthier, more beautiful locs. However, true beauty in locs is about personal expression rather than adherence to stereotypes. Embracing your natural hair texture and journey is crucial; remember, there is no such thing as an 'ugly stage'. It's essential to focus on your progress and unique path instead of comparing your journey to others. As you explore the semi freeform locs journey, consider the importance of maintenance and commitment. Gentle maintenance routines, including occasional retwisting, can help nurture your locs while allowing for growth and change. Ultimately, semi freeform locs symbolize a deeper relationship with one's self and hair, celebrating identity and personal stories. Whether you're just starting your loc journey or contemplating the switch, embrace the process and enjoy the transformative experience of semi freeform locs.

They are beautiful. I agree, no need in comparing. They're all different but all gorgeous in my opinion. Side note, I refuse to slick them down lol
