Animal Crossing: Happy Home Paradise
I recently purchased the happy home paradise dlc and I love it. I was always one of those girlys that liked to be able to rearrange and organize their room, so this was perfect for me. I love being able to create rooms based on themes. I have done atleast 5 rooms at this point, I can post those on here as well if you’re interested - just comment below!
I am also working on decorating my main island right now, so let me know if y’all would like to see me track my progress on here.
If you have any tips or tricks for any part of animal crossing please let me know! I’m still somewhat of a newbie :)

Wow, it's been such a fun dive into the Happy Home Paradise DLC! After getting my feet wet, I wanted to share a little more about my design process and what I've learned, especially since some of you asked for tips. It's been a journey from landing at Dodo Airlines to stepping into the Paradise Planning office with Lottie and Niko, ready to create dream homes. My first big project was designing Bertha's request for a 'Bungalow of Cozy Baskets' – and it was such a delightful challenge! I loved how the game walks you through selecting the perfect cottage and planning the yard space, thinking about how the exterior complements the interior. When it came to the inside, the key was really leaning into that 'cozy baskets' theme. I found using specific furniture items that fit the rustic, natural vibe was crucial. Don't be afraid to experiment with different wallpapers and flooring to set the mood! For Bertha's place, I went with warm, earthy tones and lots of wicker. The task screen really helps keep you focused on the client's core request. Speaking of themes, I've seen so many amazing ACNH cafe ideas and restaurant designs in Happy Home Paradise! My biggest tip for those is to think about functionality as much as aesthetics. What would a real café need? Counters, seating, perhaps a little kitchen area. Partitions are your best friend for dividing large spaces into distinct zones, making them feel more intimate and functional. And don't forget the lighting – it can totally transform the ambiance of a room. As you progress with Paradise Planning milestones, you'll unlock more and more amazing furniture and design options, which is super exciting. It makes each new client feel fresh because you have an expanding palette to work with. Lottie is great at guiding you through the process, and soon you'll be designing not just homes but also schools, hospitals, and cafés! Knowing about the Happy Home Network app has also been a game-changer for me. It’s so inspiring to visit other designers’ creations and get new interior design ideas for my own projects. It’s also how you can go back and tweak your designs and even redesign existing facilities in the archipelago. One thing I'm still exploring is the exterior design and learning how to go outside and tweak those elements after the initial setup. The yard is just as important as the interior for setting the tone! Plus, earning Poki to buy exclusive furniture items from the Paradise Planning office has been a huge motivator. I'm constantly on the lookout for new Happy Home Paradise furniture to add to my catalog. It's truly an addictive experience, and I can't wait to share more of my final product designs with you all!

yes please! so cool! 😍
