Green Juice Saved My Gut.
I love a super indulgent meal more than anyone, but when you discover the world of juicing and detoxification something in your brain, just shifts.
I started making green juices about two months ago and what made me start was my gut. Upset stomach, acid reflux, indigestion, discomfort, you name it, the works.
And I really wanted to start drinking green juices but I wasn’t trying to pay $15 for a 16 ounce plastic container if you know what I mean. so I said OK let’s figure out what we wanna make and let’s go by the ingredients.
The moment I tasted my first green juice. My brain immediately went “This is about to unlock a whole new level”. And it did.
Waking up in the morning and starting my day with nothing but vitamins and nutrients gives me the best energy boost I’ve ever had. Forget coffee, forget crazy amounts of caffeine. Drink a green juice, 2 to 3 times a week and you come back and you tell me how you feel 💞
And then, whenever I make a new one, I just added it to my digital recipe book and it makes me feel like I am going to the most bougie juice bar except it’s right there in my kitchen.
Being on a weight gain journey and my main priority being gains and muscle growth, it is easy to neglect your gut health because you’re so focused on caloric surplus. Green juices have been the perfect thing that keeps my health balanced in a way that feels so manageable and sustainable.
