#lemon8diarychallenge

Ingredients

•4 cartons of chicken broth

•Jar of Savoie’s Roux

•1 yellow onion

•2 green bell peppers

•1 bag Frozen okra

•Stalk of celery

•1 pound of Andouille sausage

•1 pound of smoked sausage

•1.5 pound of boneless chicken thighs

•Seasonings of your liking

•Rice

Directions

•Pour all 4 cartons of chicken broth into a huge pot. Bring it to a boil & then add in your Roux. I normally do a little more than half a jar of Roux. **(Put your Roux into a small bowl with a little bit of water to help dissolve it more & then add it to your chicken broth.)** Let that boil for at least 30 minutes, make sure you’re stirring on a regular basis so the roux doesn’t burn.

•Once your Roux is boiling turn it down to medium heat. Add in all your veggies & meats. Let it cook on simmer for about 2-3 hours. Then serve over some rice or you can even have it with crackers!😋
