HOW I TONED MY MOMBOD

I’m a mom of 2 and and restoring my core after both kids has been a huge priority for me!

Here’s what helped me lose the baby weight and restore my core.

1. Walking, walking, walking!!!!! We hear it constantly, but there’s a reason. Walking, specifically inclined, has helped me shed so much weight and be low impact. Getting in steps every single day is so important.

2. Eating smaller portions. I still what I love, in smaller portions. I try my best to eat clean but sometimes a girl craves cookies or ice cream. Eat what you love and eat balanced in moderation! DO NOT RESTRICT YOURSELF.

3. Less weight lifting. This may be controversial… I backed off on weight lifting. The more I weight lifted, the more weight I gained and the more I binge ate. I still weight lift! But I don’t go heavy. 5lb dumbbells and more reps have been a game-changer for me.

4. Deep core exercises. I do core exercises EVERY. SINGLE. DAY! Whether you’re at the gym, at home, even in bed… Take 5-10 minutes every day to do deep core exercises. Most of the time I just follow youtube videos and it has transformed my core.
