California Blocks Federal Audit of Voter Rolls
🔥 California Blocks Federal Audit of Voter Rolls
First Assistant U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli says California is refusing to comply with a Department of Justice audit of the state's voter rolls, despite what he describes as clear federal authority to conduct the review.
Essayli also criticized California's voter registration rules, noting that first-time voters without a Social Security number or driver's license may use alternative forms of identification, including gym memberships, employer IDs, credit cards, prescription labels, and insurance cards.
The dispute is likely to intensify the ongoing national debate over election security, voter access, and election integrity.
