Food I ate this week | Animal & plant based 🥩🥑

Back from vacation and back on my bs!!!!!!!

Im back to eating primarinaly Animal / plant based! So if it comes from the ground or an animal, im eating it!!!

I am doing this semi ✨loosely✨ meaning, i am eating somethings that fall outside those perimeters. Like protein powder, PB2, rice cakes, creamer, some sauces. 🤷🏻‍♀️

My body loves and reacts best with this type of eating!!! My perforamce in the gym / on my runs thrive when im strict.

Currently, im not counting macros. I have a pretty good idea of the nutrients my body is getting because ive tracked now for 12+ years 🤷🏻‍♀️ this is definitely more of a high protein / lower carb diet

... Read moreTransitioning to an animal and plant-based diet can yield numerous health benefits. This eating style emphasizes whole foods, rich in essential nutrients, supporting better energy levels and gym performance. Incorporating lean meats, such as steak and eggs, along with nutrient-dense plants like avocados and berries, creates a balanced intake that promotes overall well-being. Moreover, focusing on high-protein and lower-carb meals may appeal to those looking to manage their weight or enhance physical performance. When you consume protein-rich foods, it helps in muscle repair and growth, especially important after workouts. Additionally, incorporating healthy fats from sources like yogurt and peanut butter can help with satiety and provide necessary energy throughout the day. Experiment with various cooking methods—grilling, roasting, or steaming—to bring out the flavors of your ingredients. Opt for seasonal and local produce to maximize taste and nutrition. Remember to listen to your body; everyone's dietary needs are unique, and adjustments may be necessary based on personal preferences and fitness goals. Whether you're a full-time adherent to this diet or just exploring, embracing such an eating style can lead to a healthier, more vibrant lifestyle.
