The Dog We Never Planned for…
Alfie was never part of the plan… but from the moment I brought him home, it was like he had always been part of our little pack. 🐾✨ He fit right in instantly! He was happy, confident, and SO full of life. That said, we definitely had to make it up to Ryder for bringing another puppy into the mix. It took a little time for everyone to adjust, and for the dynamics to settle. But once they all found their spots in the pack, they became such a solid trio; it’s like they were meant to be together.
I thought adding a third dog would be chaos (especially after just getting Lainey to a solid place in her training), but somehow… it wasn’t. Alfie made everything feel easy.
He’s hands down the funniest dog I’ve ever met. 😂 Every day with him is full of laughs; he has this huge, goofy personality that turns heads and wins hearts wherever we go. He makes friends with everyone. Dogs, people, kids; you name it. It’s like he was born to spread joy.
And on top of all that, he’s so smart. His training felt effortless, like he was already a step ahead of me half the time. I kept waiting for that “new dog” learning curve, but it never really came. He picked up on everything so fast, it almost didn’t feel real.
I was nervous about adding another dog, but Alfie proved to me that sometimes the best things in life are the ones you didn’t plan for. 💛 So thankful for this little character and can’t wait to see what the future holds with him by our side. 🐶💫
