... Read moreEmbarking on my 75 Soft Challenge has been a game-changer, especially with my specific 'Quarter 4 Glow Up Plan' running from October 1st to December 15th! I wanted to share a deeper dive into my personal goals and how I'm approaching each one, hoping it inspires you to create your own adaptable challenge. First up, reading 10 pages daily. This might sound small, but consistent reading is incredible for mental growth. I keep a book by my bedside and make it a non-negotiable part of my evening routine. Sometimes it’s a non-fiction book that teaches me something new, other times it’s a novel to unwind. The key is consistency, and I’ve found that even 10 pages a day adds up to a lot of knowledge over 75 days! Next, starting a side hustle. This goal is all about channeling my energy into something productive outside my main job. It doesn’t mean I need to launch a million-dollar business overnight; it’s about dedicating consistent time to building something I’m passionate about. Even just an hour a day researching or learning new skills makes a huge difference. Hydration is crucial, so a gallon of water daily is on my list. I carry a large water bottle everywhere and make sure to refill it. My trick is to finish half by noon and the rest by early evening to avoid late-night bathroom trips. It’s amazing how much better you feel when you’re properly hydrated – my skin even looks clearer! For better digestion and energy, I’m sticking to liquids only until 12 pm. This means water, herbal tea, or black coffee for me. It’s a personal tweak that helps me feel lighter and more focused in the mornings. Remember, the 'soft' in 75 Soft means you can adjust it to what suits your body and lifestyle best. 10,000 steps daily is my baseline for physical activity. I try to incorporate walking wherever I can – taking the stairs, parking further away, or going for a brisk walk during my lunch break. On top of that, 45 minutes of walk/exercise daily ensures I get a dedicated workout. Sometimes it's a longer walk in nature, other days it’s a quick home workout video. The goal is just to move my body intentionally. To boost my nutrient intake, I’ve committed to a salad a day. This isn’t about strict dieting; it’s about making sure I get a good serving of fresh vegetables. I love experimenting with different greens, colorful veggies, lean proteins, and homemade dressings to keep it exciting. A unique goal for me is posting three times a day. This helps me stay creative, accountable, and connected with my community online. It could be anything from sharing my progress, a quick thought, or a recipe I tried. It keeps my mind engaged and reminds me of the journey I’m on. Finally, decreasing sugar, junk food & alcohol is about making mindful choices. I'm not aiming for perfection, but rather a significant reduction. Instead of reaching for processed snacks, I’m opting for fruits or nuts. It’s about building healthier habits that will last beyond these 75 days. The beauty of this '75 Soft Challenge' is its flexibility. It's a framework to build better habits, not a rigid set of rules. I've found that planning my days, even loosely, helps immensely. Think about what a 'Q4 Glow Up' means to you – for me, it's about feeling more energized, productive, and balanced. I'm excited to see the transformation by December 15th! What goals would you incorporate into your own soft challenge?
