MY PAY OVER THE YEARS

From $17 an hour to my first 6 figures! How does that happen?!

Well, I’ll tell you one thing, it wasn’t overnight! Here’s my timeline:

2020: Use $60 to create my website for “blogging” - I suck at grammar. Idk what I was thinking. I made $400+ in three months though! This helped me buy groceries and pay bills which we so needed.

2021: I decided to switch to Pinterest marketing because I thought there would be more money in it. I was so right. I took a course, hired a mentor, and launched in April. By the end of the month, I had THREEEE clients!! 🤯 And made $1100 - I was hooked! By the end of the year, I made $21K. Still had my full-time job.

2022: I quit my $17 an hour job, made my first $10K month, AND made $92,000! I was completely blown away.

2023: I went hot and heavy. Linked up with high ticket & famous clients. Over worked myself entirely 😅, hired a team, and made $157,000.

2024: Planning so many new things! Have my same long term clients and I’m just trucking along. 😊

I have to say this path was not easy. I’ve wanted to throw in the towel and blow it to bits. But I kept on because I knew there had to be more than $17 an hour. I knew I was worth more than that. I knew I had to provide for my family and siblings - to give them a better life than I had.

And I’m so glad I took a chance on myself.

I’m still in shock sometimes, but I’d love to answer any questions you have if you are interested in social media marketing!

... Read moreWhen embarking on a career change, it’s essential to recognize the value of persistence and investing in your skills. My journey began in 2020 when I made a modest investment of $60 to start a blog. Despite struggling with grammar, I earned $400 within three months, which was crucial for my finances. By 2021, I pivoted to Pinterest marketing and significantly increased my income by taking a course and hiring a mentor. This decision paid off, as I made $21,000 that year while still holding a full-time job. Fast forward to 2022, I quit my $17/hour job and achieved my first $10,000 month, culminating in $92,000 for the year. My trajectory continued to soar in 2023, as I worked with high-profile clients and earned $157,000. Through all these experiences, the key takeaways are the importance of continual learning, the courage to change paths, and the willingness to seek help. It’s normal to feel overwhelmed, especially with the added responsibilities of building a business and supporting loved ones. However, the rewards of financial independence and personal satisfaction can be more than worth it. If you're considering a similar journey, don't hesitate to reach out for advice or support. Transforming your career is challenging, but the path to success is well within your reach!
