... Read moreOkay, so after seeing the NYX Fat Cheeks Juicy Liquid Blush absolutely everywhere and asking for your thoughts, I finally got my hands on a few shades, and let me tell you, the hype is real for a reason! This product truly delivers on that 'juicy, hydrating' promise that everyone's been raving about. The packaging alone is indeed super cute, but it's what's inside that counts, right?
First, let's talk shades, because the collection is absolutely stunning. I picked up Papaya Plump and Dragon Fruit Drip first to compare a warmer and cooler tone. Papaya Plump is this gorgeous warm peachy-orange that gives such a healthy, sun-kissed glow, perfect for warmer skin tones or anyone wanting a fresh pop of color. Dragon Fruit Drip, on the other hand, is a vibrant cool-toned pink that instantly brightens up the complexion. It's surprisingly wearable despite its intensity in the tube, and a little goes a long way. These are just two of the fantastic options that offer impressive NYX Fat Cheeks swatches that truly pop!
I also managed to swatch a few others in-store, and they were equally impressive. Fig Fizz is a beautiful muted berry, really sophisticated and perfect for an everyday flush that adds elegant depth. Plum Pop is deeper, a true plum that would be stunning on deeper skin tones or for a more dramatic, evening look. The range also includes Guava Gush, a lovely soft coral, Peach Plunge for another peachy option, Bouncin' Berry which leans into a vibrant raspberry, and Blueberry Burst for a unique cool purple-pink. Each one looks incredibly tempting, and the range truly offers something for everyone, whether you're into subtle warmth or a bold pop. For those looking up NYX Fat Cheeks Juicy Blush swatches, you'll find a shade that speaks to you.
Now, to answer my initial burning questions: 'does it blend easily or stay sticky?' I'm thrilled to report it blends like an absolute dream! The liquid formula is incredibly lightweight and forgiving. A little goes a long way – seriously, one small dot is often enough for a natural flush. I find dabbing a small dot or two on each cheek and blending out with a damp beauty sponge or even my fingertips gives the most seamless, dewy finish. It truly 'melts into your skin' as promised by NYX Professional Makeup. And no, it's not sticky at all once it sets, which is a huge plus. It just leaves a beautiful, natural-looking luminosity without any tackiness.
As for longevity, I've been really impressed. Even on longer days, my NYX Fat Cheeks liquid blush holds up well, maintaining that fresh, dewy look without fading or getting patchy. It really lives up to the 'lasts all day' claim. The dewy finish isn't greasy; it’s more like a healthy, lit-from-within glow, thanks to those hydrating ingredients like raspberry oil and kiwi oil. My skin felt plumped and hydrated, not just colored. For those seeking a reliable liquid NYX blush, this definitely performs.
For extra longevity or if you have oilier skin, you can always set it lightly with a translucent powder, but I prefer to let that juicy glow shine through. I’ve even dabbed a tiny bit on my lips for a monochromatic look – it works beautifully and adds to its versatility.
So, for anyone wondering after seeing all the fat cheeks blush reviews, is the NYX Professional Makeup Fat Cheeks Liquid Blush worth adding to your cart? Absolutely! If you're looking for an affordable, high-performing liquid blush that gives a natural, dewy, and buildable flush of color, this is it. It’s quickly become a staple in my routine. Whether you go for a vibrant shade like Dragon Fruit Drip or a more subtle Papaya Plump or even the unique NYX Fat Cheeks Fig Fizz, you won't be disappointed. It truly delivers a fresh, youthful glow without breaking the bank. Go try them out and let me know your favorite shades in the comments!
I was just like you and had fomo so I got it and it is very true to the packaging color. I bought guava gush and it is very bright. It is buildable but dries quickly and takes some work to get it blended in. I have not tried it on anything other than my NYX glazed skin tint so take this with a grain of salt.
