Gaining strength takes patience

Form over weight is often overlooked when trying to build strength in underdeveloped muscles.

Wearing leg braces has been a blessing in certain aspects of my life such as improving my balance to perform every day activities. However, as I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized that they’ve also set me back in strength. Relying on them too much has made it more difficult to build leg strength in the gym. It’s going to be a long road of patience to reach the goals I want to achieve for my body, but I’m always ready for another challenge.

Embracing patience not only supports physical improvement but also fosters mental strength. Celebrate small milestones and maintain a positive outlook; each step forward builds confidence and brings you closer to your goals. Ultimately, building strength after extended leg brace use is a journey. Focusing on form, being mindful about workload, and nurturing patience are the pillars for success. With dedication and support, it is possible to regain and even surpass previous strength levels, transforming challenges into triumphs.
