Moc time!

It wasn't simply sticking two separate buildings side-by-side. My main goal was to create a seamless, cohesive structure that looked like it was designed as one large store from the start. I focused on expanding the main floor plan, adding significantly more shelf space for diverse products, and designing a more realistic and spacious checkout area with multiple tills. One of my favorite additions was creating a grander entrance. I utilized pieces from both sets to construct a wider facade, complete with custom signage. I even managed to craft a prominent 'OPEN' sign above the main doors, truly making the store feel inviting and ready for business! Inside, the extra space allowed me to double the produce section, creating a vibrant display of fruits and vegetables. I also added a dedicated bakery counter with fresh-baked goods and a small, cozy cafe corner where minifigures could grab a coffee and a pastry. These extra details, made possible by combining the sets, truly bring the grocery store to life.
