I got the PINK STANLEY 🎀
Soooo i finally gave into the stanley hype…
Yes i woke up at 6:30am and waited in line for an hour for a cup 🫣
But here’s the backstory and how this all happened:
I have only had one stanley before this one. It was a light blue one with a flip straw and honestly it was a great water bottle. I recently stopped using it because i wanted a full sized stanley with the handle on the side. (also i got the blue one for free) I think i was just waiting for the perfect Stanley color that got my attention and i actually really liked. That is when i heard the Pink Stanley was coming out.
I found out about the new Stanley cup by scrolling on TikTok the night before. All night i debated on waking up early and lining up outside in the cold for a CUP 😭 It was a big risk because some Targets had people lining up at 10pm the night before and 3am in the morning. I decided to set my alarm at 6am and i would decide how i feel about the cup in the morning. Well… i had a dream about getting it so i knew i had to get it or at least try. I got out of bed at 6:30, put warm clothes on, grabbed a blanket, and headed out. When i got there i expected one of two scenarios: no line at all or super long like (over 30+ people). Well i was wrong, there was only 9 people when i got there and i was #10. They then told me there’s only 12 cups and that i made it to get one of those cups 😱
The last two people arrived and after that the manager would come out and turn people away who didn’t make the 12. It was a really smooth process. We waited for a couple more minutes and then the manager said we could be put into a virtual line so we could wait in our cars for the remainder time.
There was so many people that got the late and unfortunately were not able to get a cup, but i am glad the manager came out and told them instead of them having to wait in line for nothing.
Anyways that’s how i got it!! I really didn’t expect to get it, but im glad i did. I officially have my first Stanley cup and probably the only one I’ll have for however long i use it.
