Unlock Prayer Power: Wait on God & Be Alone

I'm telling you, that's the most powerful thing I can tell you today. Wait upon the Lord. and he will quicken you. And when he quickens you, he'll pull you right in. He'll bring you into his office, okay? And then, fellowship can begin. Prayer can begin. Miracles begin when you're inside the office, not outside the office, okay? So, prayer becomes powerful when we recognize the presence of the Lord.

And we recognize the presence of the Lord when we are alone. That's why it's important what the Lord said. Lock yourself go into a closet go into a room or separate the world is really what he meant and when you do that You honor him and I would recommend frankly I would recommend That you be alone. I mean I'm alone. No.

Yeah, of course There's times you have to play when there's people around because you're somewhere But most times, 90 percent or more of the time when I pray, I am alone. I don't want to have people around me because I can focus better.

I can be quiet without listening to people's noises. So get alone with God every day, every day.

It’s not just about speaking words but about entering a sacred space where distractions fall away, enabling a genuine encounter with the Divine. Waiting on God requires patience and humility—sometimes sitting quietly, even when nothing seems to happen, trusting that God is working within that stillness. I’ve found that creating a “prayer closet,” a quiet physical or mental space where I remove external noise and interruptions, helps me focus more fully on God’s presence. This practice aligns well with the biblical instruction to 'go into your room and pray in secret,' emphasizing the importance of privacy and intimacy in prayer. Being alone during prayer doesn’t mean isolation but choosing to disconnect from the world’s busyness to reconnect with God. This solitude allows me to listen deeply, hear God’s whisper, and sense His guidance. It’s during these moments that prayer shifts from routine to powerful fellowship, where I feel spiritually renewed and empowered. The experience of waiting on God and praying alone has also taught me about faith and expectation. Miracles and breakthroughs often begin in these quiet moments of surrender and trust. So, if you’re seeking a deeper, more vibrant prayer life, I encourage you to dedicate time daily to be alone with God, wait on His timing, and let His presence quicken your spirit. This commitment can truly transform your prayers and your life.
