Elijah & Elisha: Called to Follow Jesus
Wonderful Jesus, I thank you for your word. Open our hearts, open our eyes, that we might see wondrous things today out of your word, in your precious and wonderful name. And to you, Lord, precious Jesus only to you belongs all the glory and God's people said amen and amen I want you to go with me to first Kings the 19 we're going to look at verse 16 now Elijah was a type of the Lord and Elisha a type of the believer Now, before God began to use him, the Bible makes it very, very clear he was called, and the Bible makes it clear that we are called in Christ Jesus, as throughout the New Testament, of course, that you and I are called to follow him and serve the Lord.
