Meet melo

Bringing home a new puppy, especially a lively 9-week-old chocolate lab like Melo, is an experience filled with so much excitement and a little bit of delightful chaos! I remember the anticipation leading up to his arrival. We spent weeks preparing, from choosing the perfect puppy bed to stocking up on all the essential toys and delicious puppy food. I even imagined him peeking out from the green grass, just like he does now, taking in his new world. The first few days with Melo have been a whirlwind of discovery. He’s so curious, exploring every nook and cranny of the house, and his little tail is always wagging. Potty training has been an adventure, but seeing him understand where to go when we're outside on the green grass is incredibly rewarding. We've been working on basic commands too, and it’s amazing how quickly these little minds learn at 9 weeks old. He’s already got such a personality! Chocolate Labs are known for their playful and loving nature, and Melo is no exception. He absolutely loves his playtime, whether it's chasing after an orange toy across the living room or snuggling up for a nap on the soft, textured carpet after a burst of energy. Watching him sleep so peacefully, sometimes with his little paws twitching as if he's dreaming of chasing butterflies, is just the sweetest thing. It really brings home the joy of being a puppy mom. One of the biggest joys has been watching him interact with everything. His bright, observant eyes follow every movement, and he's so keen to learn. We're focusing on early socialization, introducing him to new sights and sounds, and of course, lots of cuddles. The bond you form with a puppy so young is truly special; it’s a constant reminder of unconditional love. Every day brings a new funny moment or a milestone that melts my heart.
