You learn to formulate hypotheses, design experiments, meticulously collect data, and then analyze your findings. This could involve anything from measuring growth rates over specific intervals – perhaps tracking changes from 0 to 100 units as indicated by experiment results – to observing cellular responses to different stimuli.
