It’s really been a year?!

I scroll through lemon8 all the time and still love the app, I had such good intentions about being consistent and intentional on this app and that clearly just didn’t happen.

So let’s recap! Last time I posted I was talking about going into our second transfer after having our blighted ovum Miscarriage this time last year. Well that transfer in June of 2023 turned into another positive test but then an immediate chemical. So we were down to one mosaic embryo to transfer or doing another IVF Cycle.

We went with another round of IVF getting us 6 more embryo’s. One that we did a fresh transfer of in October of 2023 and then sent the others off for their genetic testing. Turned out our fresh transfer WORKED and we are due with our baby girl in just a few short weeks! 🤯

Keeping all fingers and toes crossed for a safe and health labor and delivery, and for baby girl to come earthside without a hitch 🤞🏻💕

Support systems play a crucial role; whether it's friends, family, or online communities tailored for mothers, these connections can provide strength and encouragement. In preparing for a newborn, creating a nurturing environment is essential. This includes setting up a cozy nursery, stocking up on baby essentials, or attending prenatal classes to familiarize yourself with parenting basics. Additionally, forming a birth plan can help alleviate anxiety as you approach labor. Pregnancy during uncertain times brings a unique emotional landscape. Engaging with support groups, either locally or through social media platforms, allows expectant mothers to share experiences, tips, and feelings, fostering a sense of community. Moreover, practicing self-care—be it through relaxation techniques, gentle exercises, or simply taking time for yourself—can improve overall well-being during this pivotal life stage. For those with IVF experience, sharing stories about your journeys can inspire and provide hope to others facing similar struggles. Interactions, whether through forums or in personal blogs, facilitate learning and understanding that each journey is unique yet interconnected. As you navigate your own path, you may find comfort and wisdom in shared experiences, making the journey slightly easier. To all the June mamas preparing for this exciting chapter, focus on what makes you comfortable and supported. Your journey is valid and deserves recognition as you step into motherhood with hope and love.
