Catalina Island is the perfect day or weekend trip. It was so beautiful, one of the most beautiful places in California. There are a ton of things to do like tours, hiking, camping, dining, shopping, or having a spa day. It reminds me of a coastal town in Europe. It also feels reasonably safe for solo female travelers.
