Building my capsule Wardrobe

How to Style:

📝Fashion Style: I like a variety of styles. I dress based on what I like, how I’m feeling, or where I’m going.

⏳Body Shape: I’m no expert on by any means. I wear what’s most flattering on me and comfortable

🧥Outfit Details: Starting with the basics (blacks, whites, and browns) and I buy a variety of pieces in these colors (tops, bottoms, shoes, jackets, sweaters etc.) I also consider fabric type ex: cotton, fur, denim, leather and so on to add texture. Shoes are the same neutral shoes (casual, boot, mules, clogs, etc) that will pair well with just about anything. I can mix & match or do monochromatic with a pop of color.

Brand: I buy what’s affordable for me. I’m not a stickler on buying and sticking with name brand only when it comes to clothes and shoes. I find dupes when name brand is too pricey or find a good sale on name brand items.

✨Additional Tips 1: Accessories are what brings an outfit together! Silver and gold accessories will go with anything. Stack necklaces, rings, and bracelets. Earrings simple hoops in different sizes and style in both silver and gold.

✨Additional Tips 2: Basics are versatile! I have more simple basic pieces than bright prints and patterns. You’ll have endless combinations with simple pieces.

As always my capsule wardrobe is a work in progress and is nowhere near where I’d like to be. It’s a journey and it takes time.
