Hope they help you too, mama!! 🫶🏼

10 months into motherhood, and these apps are my lifesavers! If you’re a mama looking for tools to make life easier, here’s my go-to list:

• Huckleberry: For tracking sleep, feedings, and keeping my sanity intact. I do pay for the subscription but they have a free version! I used to keep up with wet diapers in the newborn stage and now only use of he’s sick.

• Pampers Club: Diapers = rewards (yes, it’s a thing!)💰

• Wonder Weeks: All about those leaps and why my baby is suddenly extra clingy 😮‍💨🥴

• What to Expect: It’s not just for pregnancy!! They have forums to be a go-to for advice and reassurance of moms going through similar things and timeframe as you. Daily tips, milestone information, and literally sooo much more

• Eufy Baby: my app for tracking my pump sessions with my Eufy S1 Pro.

Hope this helps, mama! What apps are you loving? 💕

... Read moreOkay, mamas, let's dive a little deeper into some of the things that have really helped me navigate these first precious months, especially when it comes to those essential baby apps and even the products we use daily. While the Pampers Club app is fantastic for snagging those rewards and saving on diapers, I know many of us, myself included, often wonder about the actual product itself. I've definitely found myself searching for details about Pampers diapers – specifically, if they're truly fragrance-free and hypoallergenic, and what materials they use. From my own research, it's reassuring to know that Pampers offers options like their 'Pure Protection' line, which is specifically designed with sensitive skin in mind. These diapers are commonly marketed as being fragrance-free and free of elemental chlorine bleaching. They often highlight the use of plant-based materials and cotton softness, which for me, as a mom focused on my child's well-being, provides extra peace of mind. When I’m changing countless diapers a day, knowing I'm using a product that's thoughtful about delicate skin is incredibly important. It’s not just about the convenience of earning rewards through the Pampers Club app, but also about the safety and quality of what touches my baby's skin every day. I always recommend checking the specific product packaging for the latest certifications and ingredient lists, as formulations can occasionally vary. Beyond specific product details, another thing I've learned as a new mom is how overwhelming the sheer number of baby apps can be! When I was first expecting, I remember looking for what I thought of as the 'baby first app' to help me get started. It felt like there were endless options. What I've found most helpful is to consider what specific needs you have at different stages. For a newborn, a robust tracking app like Huckleberry is an absolute must-have. Being able to log sleep, feedings, and wet diapers was crucial for my sanity and for keeping track during those blurry first weeks. The smart widget on Huckleberry is also super handy for a quick glance. As my little one grew, apps like The Wonder Weeks became invaluable for understanding those sudden changes in behavior and developmental leaps. It truly helped me prepare for fussy phases and celebrate new skills. And the What to Expect app isn't just for pregnancy – its daily tips and milestone information for each stage are incredibly comprehensive and provide wonderful reassurance. For my specific needs, like tracking pump sessions, the Eufy Baby app has been a perfect companion to my breast pump. When choosing your own 'baby first app' or expanding your collection, I’d suggest looking for apps that are user-friendly, offer reliable information, and ideally have a strong community component, like the forums within What to Expect. Prioritize apps that genuinely simplify your routine and provide valuable insights, whether it's managing rewards with Pampers Club, tracking development with The Wonder Weeks, or monitoring sleep with Huckleberry. Don't be afraid to try a few free versions before committing, and remember, the best app is the one that truly helps you feel more confident and supported on your motherhood journey!

The image features the title "Newborn naps 101" in large blue and black text, overlaid on a blurred background of a baby sleeping peacefully. The Lemon8 logo and creator handle are at the bottom.
This image displays a chart of newborn wake windows: 1 month (30-60 min), 2 months (45-75 min), 3 months (60-90 min), and 4 months (75-120 min). It emphasizes that every baby is different and to follow wake windows, not strict schedules.
The image explains that "Routines are a Game changer," differentiating routines (specific order, not clock-dictated) from schedules (clock-bound). It highlights routines as social cues that teach babies sleep is coming, requiring consistent development.
