My Body Composition in 5 Months

I was almost the same weight the WHOLE time(120-122 lbs.) The only thing that changed was that I had to start walking my kids to and from the bus stop! There were a few times I intentionally tried to work out but it did not last long😔 Now after seeing this, I am SO glad my past self took this picture or else I would probably not have noticed.

Now, believe it or not, this new journey that I started almost 4 weeks ago was brought on by just making my bed in the morning. It sounds CRAZY but it's true. I realized more and more every day what I was neglecting which was myself. I want to be happy, create my own peace, and LOVE myself. So, I have decided to make the changes and share this from scratch. I will post the foods, walks, steps, workouts, maybe even share a few habits from my rest days. If I can do it, you can do it too! 💪🏽✨️

... Read moreTracking body composition changes is an insightful way to understand how fitness and daily habits impact your health beyond the scale. Even when weight remains stable, as this journey shows, factors like muscle gain and fat loss can dramatically alter your body's appearance and function. The mention of "Dody ComposllLon crazy 8 0 @AISLART AT C.COLLAGE March August" on the image suggests a creative collage tracking progress over several months, which is a useful motivational tool. Incorporating small but consistent actions such as walking regularly—like walking kids to the bus stop—can contribute significantly to improved muscle tone and cardiovascular health without formal workouts. Additionally, routine activities like making the bed can act as mindful rituals that promote positivity, structure, and self-discipline, which are crucial for maintaining motivation during a health journey. It's important to recognize that emotional well-being and self-love are tightly intertwined with physical changes. Prioritizing happiness and peace, alongside physical activity and nutrition, results in a holistic approach that supports sustainable transformation. Sharing foods, steps, workouts, and rest day habits openly encourages community engagement and accountability, which can enhance long-term commitment. Body composition is also influenced by factors such as hydration, sleep quality, stress management, and balanced nutrition. Nutrient-dense foods help fuel workouts and recovery, while adequate rest helps muscles repair and grow. Integrating these aspects can optimize body composition results over time. For those inspired by this journey, start by identifying small, enjoyable changes you can maintain daily. Consistency is more impactful than intensity. Celebrate non-scale victories like increased strength, improved mood, and better energy levels to stay motivated. Remember, self-care is not selfish; it's foundational to loving yourself and achieving lasting health.
