... Read moreYou guys, if you’re looking for a unique day trip, you HAVE to check out Dinosaur Park! I recently went, and seriously, it was a blast. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by these incredible, life-sized dinosaur statues. It’s not just a few; there are multiple giants scattered across the hills, making for such an immersive experience. One of my favorite spots was definitely the huge green Stegosaurus – I even saw a little one sitting right on its back, which was adorable and made for the cutest photo op! You can get so close to these prehistoric giants, it's amazing. There's also this towering green and white long-necked dinosaur that really stands out against the blue sky. It’s perfect for those epic wide shots with the scenic view in the background. Walking around, you'll find paths leading up hills, and every turn reveals another impressive dino. I spotted one with an American flag proudly displayed, which was a fun, unexpected detail! The park also has some lovely spots where you can overlook the distant landscape – there was even a cool, colorful sun-like pattern on the ground where I paused to take it all in. My Top Tips for Your Dinosaur Park Visit: Wear Comfy Shoes: You'll be doing a fair bit of walking, especially if you want to explore all the different paths and see every dinosaur. Bring Water & Snacks: Depending on the weather, it can get warm, and you’ll want to stay hydrated. There might be food vendors, but having your own is always a good idea. Camera Ready: Trust me, you'll want to capture every moment. The statues are incredibly photogenic, and the scenery is beautiful. Look out for the spots near the railings for great landscape shots. Allow Plenty of Time: Don't rush it! Give yourself at least 2-3 hours to really soak it all in, enjoy the views, and find all the hidden gems. It's Kid-Friendly: If you have little ones, they'll absolutely adore it. Seeing their faces light up at the sight of a massive T-Rex or Triceratops is priceless. There are even statues they can interact with, like the Stegosaurus I mentioned. Whether you're a dino enthusiast or just looking for a cool outdoor adventure, Dinosaur Park is a gem. It’s more than just statues; it’s an experience that transports you back millions of years. Highly recommend for a fun-filled day!
