Do You Have This??

Working a 9-5 is tough. And even worse when you constantly have a headache, backache or any other type of ache.

These are some of my favorite stretches that I do at my desk to get some movement and target those areas that feel most sore or achy.

Save for later & share with someone else who also works a desk job 🥲

Incorporating desk stretches into your daily routine can significantly enhance your well-being. Here are some effective stretches to alleviate strain: 1. Neck Rolls: Gently roll your neck to ease tension. Tilt your head from side to side while taking deep breaths. 2. Shoulder Shrugs: Lift your shoulders towards your ears, hold for a moment, and release to relieve tension and tightness. 3. Seated Torso Twist: While sitting, place one hand on the back of your chair and twist gently to one side. This helps improve spinal mobility. 4. Wrist and Finger Stretch: Straighten your arms, extend your fingers, and pull back on your fingers with your other hand to stretch the wrists. 5. Seated Hamstring Stretch: While seated, extend one leg out straight and reach toward your toes to stretch your hamstrings without leaving your chair. 6. Side Stretch: Raise your arm overhead and lean to the opposite side for a gentle stretch along the side of your body. By regularly practicing these stretches, you can combat the negative effects of prolonged sitting, increase your flexibility, and promote better blood circulation. Be sure to take short breaks regularly throughout your workday to stand, stretch, and reset your posture.
