[ EVENT ] REAL SNOW IS FALLING IN BRISBANE EVERY DAY THESE SCHOOL HOLIDAYS
Snow4Kids is back for winter 2026, dropping fresh, real snow on demand across two Brisbane sites for the June and July school holidays. Snow is a rare thing in Queensland, so this is about as close as the kids will get to a proper snow day without leaving town. Each 80 minute session is packed with falling snow, snowman building and snowball throwing, and this year the three lane snow tubing slope has moved to the bigger North Lakes site.
WHAT YOU GET IN EVERY SESSION
❄️ Daily snowfall: Fresh, real snow falls on demand so there is always powder to play in.
☃️ Snowman building: Build your own real snowman, carrot nose and all.
🎯 Snowball throwing: A supervised snowball zone for the whole family.
🕳️ Giant snow pit: Jump straight into a massive pit of fluffy white snow.
THE TWO SNOW SITES
🎢 Snow tubing: The three lane snow tubing slope is at Westfield North Lakes only this year, thanks to the extra space.
🏔️ Mt Gravatt Showgrounds: Snow play, snowman building, snowball throwing and falling snow.
🍔 Food trucks: Both sites have food trucks on site for snacks and meals.
⏱️ Session length: Every booking is an 80 minute session.
GOOD TO KNOW
🎟️ Single entry is $35 and a family pass for up to four people is $120, with group rates for ten or more.
🚘 There is parking at both sites: enter the Mt Gravatt car park from Broadwater Road and the North Lakes car park from Prospect Street.
🧤 Rug up in warm, waterproof clothes and closed in shoes, and gloves help.
🍟 Outside food and drinks are not allowed. Tickets are non refundable but you can reschedule to another session.
📍 Located at Mt Gravatt Showgrounds, 1644 Logan Road, Mount Gravatt and Westfield North Lakes, corner Anzac Avenue and North Lakes Drive, North Lakes
🗓️ Mt Gravatt June 20 to July 12, North Lakes June 27 to July 12, 2026

Repost to share the love 🫶🏻
If you're planning a winter holiday activity in Brisbane, Snow4Kids is truly a unique experience that brings the magic of snow right to Queensland, where snowfall is almost unheard of. As a parent, I found it incredibly rewarding to see children’s faces light up as real snow gently fell around them, creating that authentic winter wonderland atmosphere despite the Queensland climate. The availability of diverse activities like snowball throwing and snowman building kept the kids engaged and active, and the supervised zones made it feel safe for all ages. The three-lane snow tubing slope at Westfield North Lakes added an exhilarating thrill for older kids, and the giant snow pit provided endless fun for everyone. I recommend coming prepared with warm, waterproof clothing and gloves to stay comfortable throughout the session. The convenience of on-site food trucks made it easy to grab a meal or snack without leaving the venue. Parking was straightforward at both Mt Gravatt Showgrounds and North Lakes, which helped make the visit hassle-free. For families, purchasing the family pass was cost-effective and allowed for a relaxed group experience. It’s also great that tickets are reschedulable, which offers flexibility in case of weather or other commitments. Overall, Snow4Kids is an excellent way to enjoy a rare snow day without traveling far, creating lasting memories for children and adults alike. If you're looking for something special this school holiday, this event is definitely worth checking out. Who are you taking with you to enjoy this snowy adventure?
