UPDATE ON MY ROOM!
So a couple weeks ago I posted asking for suggestions on what to do with my room because I had a beige thing going on, but I had this beach painting that I wanted to use to incorporate some blue into my room. I tried adding plain, sheer blue curtains and I just thought they looked weird, but I wasn’t sure, so I asked you all here what I should do and some people liked just the plain blue, but I also got so many great ideas on how to tie it together better!!! so I ended up adding blue throw pillows, and I found one of my old stuffed animals at my parents house that had some blue on it, and I also added a light blue throw blanket, which I didn’t get a good picture of you, but can see it on the bed, and it goes with the look of the curtains really good! I put a blue fitted sheet on my bed as well! and as far as the curtains go, I kept the blue, but I put a sheer, cream one over it so it dilutes the blue a little bit and it’s mostly the cream you see with just a little blue peeking out and I LOVE how it looks! (a lot of you guys suggested layering and I love it!) then some other small things: I put babies breath in a vase in the corner (might be my favorite touch) and a little trinket tray that has a blue flower engraved, and you can’t see it very much, but I like having it there! I ordered that wall print off of SHEIN to go above my mirror, but it hasn’t come in yet so I just made a sticker of it but you get the idea hahaha!
