I'm still watching mama's family I wonder how many people who watch this show know it was a skid from The Carol Burnett show the old variety show from back in the day ask your grandparents about it but back then it was called the family and it was more about Eunice one of Mama's daughters then actually mama I love this show but looking at it through 2025 eyes this show had no real minorities there was an episode where there's a Portuguese lady wanted to marry Mama's son to get the green card and that's about as close as we got to having a minority and Mama's family but this is me looking at it through today's eyes this show reflects what White America was supposed to be but I still love the show of my favorite skits of the show for the ones where Eunice appeared at the very beginning before they change network
