Honest Thoughts👇
🤍The place was super cute, but not that spacious. There are some awkward places to sit, but we just checked other stores while we waited. I was sent a text once my order was ready and it took about 10-15 min.
Drinks:
The drinks remind me of Molly Tea and Heytea!
🫖The Roasted Oolong Milk Tea was good, but I felt like sometimes the milk taste was slightly more than the tea itself.
🍋The Perfume Series: Lemon Roasted Oolong was really refreshing! It was the perfect thirst quencher but just don't let it sit too long because when it was concentrated it was pretty acidic tasting.
Overall would go again!

Visiting Chahalo in Berkeley offers more than just great drinks—it’s a spot that feels both charming and intimate, perfect for a quick catch-up or solo tea time. From personal experience, the text notification system once your order is ready adds convenience, especially when the shop gets busy. Although seating can be a bit limited and awkwardly placed, exploring nearby stores while waiting makes the visit enjoyable. When it comes to drinks, their Roasted Oolong Milk Tea strikes a nice balance, though the milk flavor can sometimes overshadow the tea’s natural aroma; this is a common trait in many milk teas and depends on personal preference. The highlight has to be the Perfume Series’ Lemon Roasted Oolong—this one really stands out as a zestier, refreshing option. I’d recommend drinking it promptly to avoid the acidic taste that develops if it concentrates over time, which could detract from the experience. Fans of boba and milk tea from places like Molly Tea or Heytea will find familiar tastes but with Chahalo’s unique twist. I also liked how the menu offers creative blends without overwhelming options, making it easier to choose. Overall, I’d definitely visit again, especially on warmer days when a cold, flavorful tea hits the spot perfectly. For those in Berkeley looking for a cozy boba spot with quality tea, Chahalo is definitely worth checking out.
