Coyotes

This adaptability is key to their survival; they are opportunistic hunters and scavengers, capable of finding food and shelter wherever they go. They are indeed nocturnal animals, meaning they are most active during the night, which explains why we often hear them long before we ever see them. Perhaps one of the most misunderstood aspects of coyotes is their role in the environment. Many people wonder, how do coyotes help the environment? They are actually vital components of our ecosystems. As predators, coyotes play a crucial role in controlling populations of rodents, rabbits, and other small mammals, which can help prevent agricultural damage and the spread of diseases.
