That terrifying feeling of seeing his tentacle lash out is something else. It got me thinking a lot about his unique power, the T-Virus Contamination, and whether he's truly a top-tier killer in Dead by Daylight. Let's talk about that infamous *dead by daylight nemesis tentacle attack*. From a survivor's perspective, it's a game-changer. Unlike simple basic attacks, Nemesis's tentacle has a decent reach, which means he can hit you over some loops and through windows if you're not careful. The real kicker is the T-Virus contamination. Getting hit once contaminates you, making you vulnerable to subsequent tentacle attacks that cause damage. It forces you to make a choice: find one of the limited vaccines or risk being downed quickly. I remember trying to loop him around a tall rock, thinking I was safe, only for that tentacle to whip around and infect me. It really teaches you to respect his range and consider your pathing more carefully. Breaking line of sight and using pallets wisely becomes even more crucial. Sometimes, faking a vault or window jump can bait out his tentacle, giving you a precious second to escape. Now, to address the big question: *is Nemesis good dbd*? From my experience, both playing against him and observing others, he's definitely a formidable killer, but he has his nuances. His strengths lie in his anti-loop potential with the tentacle, especially once survivors are contaminated. He can also apply significant map pressure with his zombies. Those shambling undead might seem slow, but they can block paths, reveal survivor locations, and even infect survivors themselves, contributing to the T-Virus buildup. I've had countless moments where a zombie unexpectedly blocked my escape route, leading directly into Nemesis's arms. When he gets to Tier 3 on his tentacle, his range increases, making him even more dangerous in a chase. However, Nemesis isn't without his weaknesses. His tentacle attack can feel a bit slow and predictable if you know how to dodge it. Good survivors can bait out the attack and then quickly adjust their pathing. The vaccines, while limited, can cleanse the contamination, reducing his damage potential temporarily. Also, his zombies, while useful, can sometimes be a hindrance, blocking Nemesis himself or getting stuck. As a survivor, I've learned that trying to run him around large, open areas where his tentacle doesn't have cover to strike over, or in areas with many quick vaults, can buy you time. Overall, I'd say Nemesis is a solid A-tier killer. He's not as universally dominant as some, but in the right hands, he can absolutely control a match and lead to some truly unforgettable encounters – just like my last one where he truly tested my skills!
