amazon haul.
Okay, so you guys know how much I love a good book haul, and my latest Amazon delivery did NOT disappoint! I'm so excited to share what new reads I've added to my ever-growing TBR pile. If you're into romance, especially contemporary or romantic suspense, you're in for a treat. First up, I finally got my hands on a few more books from the incredible Catherine Cowles. Her stories always draw me in with their small-town charm, emotional depth, and just enough suspense to keep you turning pages late into the night. I grabbed Broken Harbor and Delicate Escape, both from her Sparrow Falls series. The covers are absolutely stunning, featuring those serene mountain landscapes and beautiful nature elements – they just scream cozy but thrilling reading vibes! If you haven't read her work, she's a master at crafting intense connections and heartfelt journeys, often weaving in elements of past trauma and healing. Her books are perfect for when you want a story that makes you feel everything. I also snagged Beautiful Exile from her collection, and I'm already anticipating the feels! Many of her fans agree that her ability to create a strong sense of community and family, even amidst danger, is truly what sets her apart. Then, crossing over to the sports romance arena, I picked up a couple from the Playing for Keeps Hockey Romance series by Becka Mack. I've heard so many amazing things about these books, and I'm a huge fan of a good hockey romance. There's something undeniably captivating about the competitive spirit mixed with undeniable chemistry. The covers for fall with me and unravel me are so captivating, with their unique artistic styles and hints of scenery – they definitely stand out! I'm really looking forward to diving into the world of charming hockey players and their heartwarming love stories, full of witty banter and steamy moments. For those wondering about the Playing for Keeps Hockey Romance order, typically it's best to read them in release order to fully appreciate the character development and overarching story arcs within the hockey team's world, though many can be read as standalones focusing on different couples. It truly enhances the experience to see the recurring characters and their journeys unfold. Beyond these, my haul also included Born of Blood and Ash and A Soul of Ash and Blood by Jennifer L. Armentrout. These are from her popular 'Blood and Ash' world, and if you're into epic fantasy romance with vampires, gods, and intense world-building, you know these are must-reads! The covers are always so dramatic and fitting for the high-stakes stories within, often featuring iconic symbols of the series. I also grabbed A False Start by Elsie Silver, which sounds like a delightful small-town romance with a bit of a cowboy flair from her Gold Rush Ranch series – perfect for a cozy weekend read when you need something charming and heartwarming. There's just something so satisfying about getting a fresh stack of books delivered right to your door. It's like unwrapping a little piece of escapism. What are some of your recent Amazon book finds? Or if you've read any of these, let me know your thoughts in the comments! I'm always looking for my next five-star read, and I love hearing what others are enjoying.
