My Favorite Races

• Chicago Marathon- This was my first full marathon in 2014 and I ran with the Pat Tillman foundation. I would like to run this race again sometime, because I went in with to harsh of expectations on myself and I let it ruin my experience. But the one thing I remember the most, was the AMAZING crowd support.

• Pat’s Run- This run benefits the Pat Tillman Foundation and the Tillman Scholars while also honoring Pat. 4.2 miles through Tempe, AZ and it’s the largest race I’ve been too with such a short distance.

• Marine Corp Marathon- I ran this with Wear Blue: Run to Remember and it was hands down one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. In fact this is my favorite race and I totally see why it is deemed “the people’s marathon”.

• Fort Bragg 10 Miler- This race draws a large local crowd, and for most it’s pretty boring. But this is a race I always have the best PR’s every time even with the hills at the start and finish.
