Empty Wall? ADD PHOTOS! 📸
The idea of gallery wall has excited me since as long as I could remember! Way before I had a child and even before I had a husband. The beauty of a gallery wall is that you don’t need to have a family or even a friend lol. You could put whatever you want up! If it’s just you and your goldfish, GIRLLLLLL, print out those photos and put them up! Whatever walk of life you’re in display it! Something about photos in your home really warm up the place and it doesn’t mean that if you don’t have photos in your that it isn’t welcoming or inviting because prior to now my husband and I haven’t had photos aside from our bedroom and we’ve been living together for almost 5 years.
A few years ago I used to babysit this kid and his parents were so cool! They had a gallery wall behind their sofa and it was a bunch of different random pictures of their hobbies and interest. Gallery walls are not one size fits all, and even though I made mine about my family I may do another gallery wall with images of art, nature, and then some more family photos of course LMAO.
My choice to make them black-and-white was because I love a black-and-white photo and it is so timeless. My husband and I are definitely walking into a more neutral and minimal aesthetic and I felt this was the best way to fill up the space and keep it clean all at the same time.
