How I’ve improved my mindset 🫶🏻
At the end of 2023 I realized how depressed I was & needed to improve my life before something happened. I decided to get rid of anything & everything toxic.
I started off with quitting my toxic job. I was offered a position at a facility that I supported, but 2 weeks later they decided to withdraw their offer. ☹️ I was heartbroken, but had to move forward.
• Developed a skincare routine (improved my dry chin tremendously!)
• Daily routine (accomplish goals for the day)
• Journal (a safe space to release emotions)
• Use a planner (helps with motivation)
• Go on walks (our dogs enjoy it too)
• Increased SSRI medication (80mg of Prozac instead of 40mg)
• Talk to a therapist (last one didn’t help, but this one 🥰)
After a couple of months, people started complimenting on my “positive vibes”. ☮️ I noticed my content has improved & I’m not as nervous to post things. I have come to realize that life is short & you have to make the best out of the bad. 🙂
“It’s not a bad life, just a bad day” ❤️🩹

Improving your mindset can significantly boost your overall happiness and well-being. In a world filled with challenges, cultivating a positive mindset involves several strategic practices. First, establishing a daily routine can help you accomplish your goals and maintain a sense of direction. Journaling allows for emotional expression and reflection, while planners keep your days organized and your mind focused. Incorporating activities like regular walks not only promotes physical health but also boosts mood. Additionally, seeking professional help through therapy can provide valuable guidance, especially if you feel lost in your mental health journey. It’s essential to surround yourself with supportive friends and engage in fulfilling activities that align with your interests. Techniques such as mindfulness and gratitude can also enhance your outlook, encouraging you to appreciate the good in your life. Ultimately, remember that it's okay to have bad days; what's important is how you bounce back. Focus on making incremental changes and celebrating your progress to make lasting improvements in your mindset and overall mental health.
