Things I Want For My Future Home!
Let’s face it, with the way the economy is right now, I’m not sure if we’ll ever own a home. But a girl can dream, right?
I love looking at home decor and finding things I’d love in a future home. So I thought I’d share some of my favorites and maybe pass on some inspo!
*those built in gazebo things: I don’t know why, but I have ALWAYS loved them and have always wanted one in my future home. You don’t see them super often, at least where I’m from. I just love them.
*wrap around porch: again, another thing I’ve always been obsessed with for a home. It’s probably my biggest non negotiable for a home lol. I just want decorate with rocking chairs and plants and sit out and read and watch thunderstorms. It’s just perfect.
*reading nook: IDEALLY my house would have the built in gazebo thing, and THAT would be my reading nook. Otherwise I’ll find a different nook.
*home library: I love to read and I have a ton of books. I need somewhere to store them all lol. I also want a rolling ladder so I can go all Beauty and the Beast.
*the Owen’s home from Practical Magic: it’s just perfection. It’s one of my all time favorite movies, and if I could get my hands on the blueprints and build it, I would. I need an exact replica.
*greenhouse: I’d love to grow my own food and what better way to do so? I know I could just do a normal garden, but there’s just something about a beautiful greenhouse.
*plants everywhere: I just want all the plants. Everywhere. I just love the look of it.

Creating your dream home is a deeply personal journey, filled with hopes and aspirations. One enchanting element many dream of is a built-in gazebo, perfect for relaxing with a good book. A wrap-around porch often tops the list as well, providing an idyllic space for gatherings or quiet reflection, adorned with rocking chairs and lush greenery. Consider a dedicated reading nook, a tranquil corner filled with natural light, or perhaps a robust home library where you can store your treasured books, complete with a rolling ladder for those hard-to-reach titles. Many also dream of a greenhouse, an ideal solution for growing fresh produce and tending to plants year-round. This not only fosters a connection to nature but also enhances your home’s aesthetic. Integrating plants throughout your living space can transform the ambiance, promoting a sense of tranquility. Bringing your vision to life might take time and effort, but with careful planning, each of these elements can become a reality in your future home. What features are you excited to incorporate into your own dream space?
