Day 7- Before the chaos of the week hits…

Day 7 of our December Stewardship Challenge was five minutes of silence and prayer 🤍

Before the noise of the week begins, we choose stillness. We choose to listen. We choose to invite God into everything ahead of us.

Today I spent a few quiet minutes in stillness, prayed over the new week, and ended by catching up on my Bible reading in Luke as we walk toward Christmas together.

Stillness isn’t wasted time, it’s where our hearts get realigned.

If you did today’s prompt, leave a heart, a prayer, or a comment below so we can cheer one another on 🤍

And if you’re just finding us, you can still join the challenge through the link in my bio.

This Day 7 practice from the 31 Days of Stewardship encourages setting aside five minutes of quiet and prayer before the busyness of the week starts. Such moments help us reboot, create a centered mindset, and invite divine guidance for the days to come. Silence is often overlooked but it allows us to disengage from distractions and fully focus inward. When we pause in this stillness, we realign our hearts and intentions, which can lead to a renewed sense of calm and clarity. Praying during these moments helps us connect deeply with our faith and find peace even before challenges arise. Catching up on scripture reading, as done through the book of Luke in this challenge, offers thoughtful reflection and inspiration. This daily spiritual nourishment can cultivate hope and readiness for life’s demands. Engaging in these practices regularly builds resilience and fosters a habit of mindfulness. For anyone feeling overwhelmed before a busy week, starting with a brief silence and prayer can be transformative. The image text, "Day 7: Before the week begins... let's pause 31 Days of Stewardship," perfectly captures this commitment to intentional stillness. Whether you’re new or continuing this journey, embracing these moments can enhance your personal growth and spiritual connection. Sharing your experience—whether a prayer, a thought, or a heart emoji—not only boosts your accountability but also builds a supportive community encouraging one another in this meaningful challenge. This sense of togetherness keeps motivation strong and reminds us that even brief stillness can profoundly impact our lives.

A prayer for the new week❤️ Lord, as we step into this new week, we place everything in Your hands. Go before us, cover our homes and our hearts, and give us peace, wisdom, and strength for whatever comes. Help us to steward our time well and rest in You. Amen.
