Before THE Chop
After discovering I have Irish like curls, I went on a hunt of how to improve my curl pattern. Now I have gone to beauty school (10 years ago 😅) so I have some knowledge. I knew that I needed layers to help lighten the weight. I want those bouncy the curls! I tried creams and such to teach my top layer hair to curl like the under layer haha. I did that while I hunted down a proper stylist. Can't go with just anyone for curls. At least I feel like that's how it is. I wanted someone who understood my hair type. Because I really didn't 😅 hahaahaha
I haven't had a hair cut in a year! This cut was needed. It feels so refreshing. I truly feel more like myself! They stylist did great with the consultation, I felt heard.
I'm just in love with my hair and wanted to share 🥰 Happy Sunday 😊 😊 😊

For those looking to enhance their curls, understanding different curl types is essential. Curly hair can vary from loose waves to tight coils, and each has unique needs regarding products and styling techniques. When searching for a haircut suitable for curly hair, layers can be a game changer. They add volume and shape, eliminating the 'pyramid' look that can occur with heavy, blunt cuts. Products like curl creams and mousses can help define curls and provide the necessary moisture. It's important to consult with a stylist who specializes in curly hairstyles; they can tailor a cut that showcases your natural texture while keeping your curls bouncy and healthy. Furthermore, utilizing the right techniques for drying and styling curls can result in stunning, well-defined curls. Remember that healthy curls start with a proper hair care routine, including regular trims, deep conditioning treatments, and minimizing heat damage. Engaging with online communities can also provide valuable tips and inspiration for your curly hair journey.
