Spring Menu Drink from 7 Brew

Tried something from 7Brew Coffee’s spring menu today ☕🌸

I ordered a small Irish Blondie Breve with oat milk, added chocolate drizzle, and topped it with cold foam.

The blondie flavor is already rich and slightly caramel-forward, and the chocolate drizzle made it feel a little more indulgent without being too sweet. The cold foam on top pulled everything together.

If you like creamy, dessert-style coffee drinks, this combo is definitely worth trying.

When I first saw it on the menu, I was intrigued by the 'Blondie' part. For those who might not know, a 'blondie' flavor usually means a sweet, rich, buttery, and vanilla-caramel profile – think of a blonde brownie versus a chocolate one. Add 'Irish' to that, and you get a subtle, smooth, and slightly creamy undertone, often reminiscent of Irish cream liqueur, but without the actual alcohol, of course! The 'Breve' part is key here! It means your espresso is made with half-and-half instead of milk. This is what gives the Irish Blondie Breve its incredibly creamy, almost dessert-like richness. It’s definitely a treat, not just your everyday coffee. My go-to customization, as you know, is oat milk (for that dairy-free creaminess), a generous chocolate drizzle coating the inside of the cup – just like you see in those beautiful Instagram photos, and a fluffy cold foam topping. That cold foam isn't just for looks; it adds an extra layer of velvety texture that really pulls all the flavors together, from the rich coffee to the sweet caramel and chocolate. What truly makes this drink special is how well the flavors blend. You get that initial sweetness from the blondie and chocolate, followed by the robust coffee, and then a smooth, lingering warmth from the 'Irish' essence. It's indulgent without being overly heavy, making it surprisingly perfect for spring. It feels like a little celebration in a cup, a perfect pick-me-up as the weather gets warmer. If you're heading to 7 Brew and looking to explore their menu, especially if you're a fan of the Irish Blondie Breve, here are some other ideas. Don't be afraid to experiment! If you prefer less sweetness, you can always ask for fewer pumps of syrup. For an even bolder coffee taste, an extra shot of espresso can do wonders. And if you're not an oat milk fan, almond milk or whole milk would also be delicious, though the half-and-half in the breve already makes it super creamy. I've also heard of people adding a pump of white chocolate or hazelnut for even more depth, depending on their preference. 7 Brew is known for its extensive customization options, so don't hesitate to ask your barista to help you craft your perfect drink. Compared to other drinks on the 7 Brew menu, the Irish Blondie Breve stands out for its unique blend of caramel-vanilla richness with that subtle Irish cream note. It's different from a classic caramel macchiato because the blondie flavor adds a more complex, baked-good sweetness. If you typically go for things like the 'Blondie' (without the Irish kick) or a 'Caramel Macchiato,' this is a fantastic step up to try something new, especially while it's part of the spring lineup. It really embodies that cozy yet refreshing vibe for the season. The visual appeal, as captured in the image of the clear cup with its distinct layers of coffee, chocolate drizzle, and pristine cold foam, truly reflects the care put into crafting these seasonal beverages. It's not just a drink; it's an experience. Trust me, it's worth trying before it's gone – it might just become your new spring obsession!
